With me as your independent wedding celebrant, you can plan your own wedding whichever way you want.
Prefer to keep things simple and celebrate in your back garden? No problem. Want a small and simple, no frills ceremony that cuts to the chase? That’s fine. Or, have you endured a lot to get to this stage? Is this ceremony a chance for you to take stock and really celebrate all you have created as a couple-let’s do it!
Using an independent wedding celebrant such as myself is a two-way process; I work collaboratively with you and we develop a special relationship along the way. Personalised Celebrant-led Ceremony:
As your wedding celebrant, I create a unique and personalised wedding ceremony that reflects your personalities, beliefs, and values. I can tailor your wedding ceremony to suit your preferences and include any traditions, rituals, or readings that are meaningful to you and your family.

Flexibility around your wedding ceremony:
I offer more flexibility in terms of the time, date, and location of your wedding ceremony. That’s right, I am not bound by the restrictions that some religious or civil ceremonies may have, and I can perform ceremonies anywhere that is meaningful to you. If you can’t get a particular date with a registrar and venue to tie up then know there is another way; simply carry out the legal procedures before the wedding ceremony (normally 2 weeks before; check out my FAQs) and then enjoy your bespoke and unique wedding celebration with me.

Religious, non religious or interfaith couples:
I can conduct non-religious or multi-faith ceremonies that may not be possible with other types of celebrants; I craft wedding ceremonies which are fully inclusive embracing LGBTQIA+ and all backgrounds, ethnicities and cultures.

Full Control of Your Celebrant Wedding Ceremony
As your wedding celebrant, I work closely with you throughout the ceremony planning process, allowing you to have more control over the ceremony. In a nut shell, I can ensure your ceremony is exactly as you want it to be. By choosing me as a wedding celebrant, you can be confident that you get to make the rules and you are in the driving seat; I am simply there to tell your story.
“Michelle also worked with my husband to make some edits to the ceremony which were kept as a surprise from me until the day. This included some wording around the ring exchange to something that meant something to the two of us, as well as helping to keep the biggest secret of all - that my husband was going to be taking my surname! My husband has since told me how supportive Michelle had been when he was stressing out about keeping such a big secret, reassuring him and helping him to figure out the best way to reveal the surprise. This all made it even more special and meaningful for us on the day.”

I devote time to build a meaningful relationship with you. This, in turn, creates a more meaningful and intimate experience for you and your guests. There is nothing I enjoy more than getting to know my couples and their families. It’s the greatest honour.
